Such a ridiculous overreaction, all these borders closing again, just in time for December holidays, like it's planned.

For a new variant that's apparently pretty harmless, because they want to keep controlling us and profiting from those damn vaccines.

Meanwhile, Golovkin is out of boxing for even longer, although I think he'd love a third Canelo fight and retire.

I know Mikey took the steam out of jumps like that, but now Canelo is going after a cruiser belt. Yes It’s calculated and Makabu not the biggest or tallest cruiser. The point is if ggg jumped to face Artur it would do a lot for him in the eyes of the fans. It’s they guy grass roots fans want to see Canelo fight. It’s too cool to happen cause this is boxing. GGG is a part time fighter at this point.
Why do you think it's cool if a fighter has disadvantages or advantages?. I believe 90% of the time fighters move up because they don't want to train hard enough to make weight anymore or they are moving up to grab titles in a weaker division. Sometimes a young fighter out grows a division. Yes this happens. But I feel alot of fighters that move up don't have that success that made them who they are / were in their primes. And like I said, if they do have success, it's because they are targeting weak/ guaranteed wins at the division above . Most of these " oh , I'm a 4-5-6 division champ " are a crock. Looks great on paper but that's exactly what the belts are, paper. I notice there's alot of criticism directed towards Triple G for not moving up or down over the years . Mostly up.Why ? If a fighter , especially a champion , feels comfortable at a certain weight , why not stay there. Marvin Hagler stayed a middleweight and nobody flinched. Nobody said boo . Marvin was 5'9" 160 lbs. GGG ,5'10" 160 lbs. That's their weight and both obviously very successful. Nobody was ragging on Marvin to go and fight Matthew Saad Muhammad, or Eddie Gregory or Victor Galindez or Mike Spinks. But this generation wants to see GGG at disadvantage. I like seeing fighters at their best , not at disadvantages or advantages because of their size. I remember Sugar Ray Leonard as a Welterweight. Does anyone really care he moved up to 154 and captured the Jr.Middleweight from Ayub Kalule ?? Does anyone here even know that's how he became a jr.middleweight champ ? No. But that's what these champs do. Even the greats . They see an easy target in another weight class then pursue it. That's all it is. It's usually not for the " challenge " . There's exceptions. Duran moving up to face Leonard from lightweight to Welterweight. Arguello moving up from lightweight to fight Aaron Pryor. Duran moving up to fight Hagler . Mike Spinks moving up from light Heavy to fight Larry Holmes in a battle of undefeated. Hearns moving up to fight Shuler then Hagler. Pacman moving up and moving up to face lightweight, jr. Welter , Welter , champs regardless who was champ. These were " challenges " , not picking up titles like 90% of these guys nowadays. Nowadays there's so many titles in each weight class , these guys can move around and cherry pick the title they want. But the bottom line is , these champs will be remembered usually for ONE weight class...all of them. Duran a lightweight, Leonard a Welterweight, Hearns a Welterweight, Hagler a Middleweight, whether he moved or didn't move. Spinks a light Heavy. Pac was probably the toughest call because he excelled again at the best in a few divisions but probably be remembered as super feather at his best. 10 yrs from now, trust me , nobody will care about Canelo mowing down Rocky Fielding , Liam Smith, Callum Smith , BJ Saunders ,Caleb Plant , a completely shot, way past his prime Kovalev , for all these titles. Nobody will care. In fact, knowledgeable boxing people don't care now. . Now who's he going after ? Some stiff of a cruiserweight ? Nobody cares. Nobody And nobody will care 10 years from now either. .While he's on his way to fight this clown at 190 , why doesn't he make a pit stop at light Heavy and fight one of Beterbiev, Bivol, Joe Smith , or Gilberto Ramirez? At least make it entertaining. I'm not buying into the Canelo " belt " train. Seriously, who the F heard of this clown before Canelo announced this debacle? Canelo is a joke.

GGG chose to sit out all year so it’s him. He could fought Andrade now the Murata fight will likely be his last if it even happens. GGO turns 40 a month after I do and while I’m in good shape sparring now feels way different. I would hate to see him hurt like Adonis Stevenson, he looked terrible after the Sergey Dereynchecko fight.

The question is how many ticket buyers were going to Japan for the fight. Flights would have to have been rescheduled for a future date as well as Hotel bookings, and the promoters want to assure those ticket buyers still attend. I guess empathy overrules. I mean the worst case scenario is that all foreign parties such as GGG's team and industry were completely shut down from entrance, regardless of the event.... We will see Inoue in two weeks, and you'll see a huge crowd nonetheless. Also the premium pricing to watch Murata fight GGG were luxury tickets and the best diehard Japanese fans.

Golovkin won't even go to 168 unless it's canelo; won't fight andrade; won't fight Charlo. You think he's gonna go to 175 and fight beterbiev?! Golovkin don't care about making headline, it's about making those retirement $$$.

GGG's retirement checks devalue all the time. Promoters don't care about his ego anymore, nor is he a big draw

Inoue is fighting in two weeks and he brings a crowd, no cancellation. Both Inoue and Murata were expected to have 95% Japanese sales tickets. Nobody traveling for GGG. So 5% from supposed foreigners, whom would be screened upon entry, are the concern? Hard to know what’s going on. Could be Murata needs more time or GGG wants out. Hard to know if it’s Top Rank or DAZN re-evaluating this fight.

But imho GGG Promotions wasting industry time again. Don’t be surprised this unification could be off completely

I know the news is full of ****, but sometimes, on the rarest of occasions, you do learn something from it.

                      I’m guessing you don’t watch a lot of it…?
