I like him. Seems to be fair and call it mostly like it is.

He's alright.
My problem is more with his co commentator. I forgot which fight it was (couple of weeks ago) they was talking about boxers buying cars after they get their checks. Dude was like did you get a car Sergio? What you get a Ford pinto. (awkward silence when someone is trying be funny) A few rounds later they
Get some blood splattered. "oh now you gotta go to Kmart sergio for a new shirt. Har har har.
Dude you on national television. Your sense of humor should at least be average.
Everything after HBO has seem so ****** low budget by comparison.Comment

He does have insight with boxing comments but he is another cheerleader especially if they are from Mexico.Comment

Are you serious you couldn’t be more wrong he’s a Tom he’s always going hard on Mexicans so the powers thaT be don’t think he’s giving them preference. I always see him go hard on Latino fighters yet he praises black fighter because according to him he fought similar to them in being a pure boxer.Comment

it seems like he just picks a random thing to focus on early wrong or right and just goes with it the whole fight. like in the Hosea Burton V Dan Azeez fight, he said Burton was the favourite early (despite being underdog) and that Burton was a puncher (despite being feather fisted) and just kept repeating that the entire fight, contrary to what was happening in the ring

He's lucid man, his mind is very fluid, constant ability to learn, and the pursuit of endless excellence. He is a virtue in the sport, a very eloquent vato. I remember that akward moment between him and Brian Kenny " (says Kenny about Andy Ruiz) it says destroyer in his back!* On his trunks, then Sergio goes "yeah and on top of that it says victorious" (on his back tattoo) bk... Constant silence. That was a ****in Alward moment.Comment
