If Linares has anything left he should thrash Abdullaev.

Linares will have to win eight rounds cleanly to get a decision in Russia and there's a good chance he'll do it.

Zaur Abdullaev, can not quit in Russia like he did vs. Devin Haney in the U.S.A.

Taking into account Zaur Abdullaev flawed defense and Jorge Linares history of getting KO by undermatched opponents, along with the prize of advancing to a final eliminator for the WBC lightweight crown, this matchup is interesting and is significant for the lightweight division.

I think its remarkable that Jorge Linares continues to be a player at 135 and may even contest for the WBC lightweight title once again -- how many times has he done it now? I forget.
