The issue is the father son combos. This failed Loma and then Lopez right after.

Loma had a crap plan for Lopez and lost the fight because of what he didn't do opposed to what Lopez did. Lopez knew that and that's why he didn't want the rematch. A Loma at 100% would reck Lopez.

I also think if Loma had a slightly strong chin he would be unstoppable.

Naw, said he would beat Teofimo in a rematch, gave him way too much respect in that 1st fight and fought too safe out of fear of Teofimo's Power and probably seeing clips of him laying out Commey so he fought the first half of that fight very Cautious

You can time Teofimo all day, the blueprint is out and I think it was Loma who laid the Blueprint the second half of their fight and Kambosos picked up where Loma left off. Teofimo cannot adjust or time rights over the top of his awful Shoulder Roll at all it will likely always be his Kryptonite as long as he keeps trying to use that Shoulder Roll, even Mayweather knew when to get out of the Shoulder Roll and get into his High Guard Shell...

Nah.... I just think certain people and the boxing media over hyped him..

Comparing him to Floyd for example left a bad taste in people mouth.

But every fighter has to deal with that.

Look at Boots... Dude ain't done nothing... Atleast Loma is regarded as the greatest amateur of all time and won belts very fast.

And also Loma has limited power and is at at disadvantage at the higher weight classes and still is a threat.

Hopefully someone else fights him so we can have clarity instead of waiting till he old then claiming he was a hypejob

I can see Loma making at least 10 mil against Davis on PPV. Even at 70/30 split. Make this fight next.

I find it hard to understand unbiased boxing fans who don't think Lomachenko is a great boxer, he probably won't have an ATG pro career but that IMO opinion is partially due to his heritage in valuing Olympic gold medals and then not cherry picking after turning pro.

Still stats wise his career isn't that bad: 2 Olympic Golds, fought for a title in his second pro fight, won a title in his third, fastest 3 division champ and in my view wanted to fight the best available and usually at weight class obviously higher than appropriate.

But stats aren't the point, you only need eyes and an appreciation of boxing skill to understand why he is highly regarded.

Maybe he isn't your favourite fighter, there are faster, harder hitting, more athletic boxers with granite chins but if you can't recognise Lomachenko's pure boxing skills I sort of feel sorry for you.

He lost to a journeyman in his 3rd pro fight, and now has 2 losses out of 17 pro fights and people were hailing him as some ATG. Only a deluded casual would buy that crap.

Some truth to that. Not all. He's also beaten some good fighters, like Gary Russell. Loma was on that night. That's his career defining win, so far, unless he can beat the guy in my avatar. Hopefully the logical Loma fans wouldn't say Loma was too old, or too small, after the fact. Remember, Gervonta is a 'midget,' as the haters say.
