Teofimo Lopez may actually have made some history this year.

He could become only the second fighter in history to be on either end of the Upset of the Year in back to back years.

The only other fighter was Muhammad Ali. His loss to Norton in 73 and victory over Foreman in 74 were both voted Upset of the Year.

I still got Kiko Martinez starching Kid Galahad as a bigger upset.

A 35 year old with 10 losses and 2 draws on his record who last held a title way back in 2014 at super bantamweight knocking out the reigning IBF featherweight champion is nuts.

Same here actually, but I expect Ring to go with Kambosos-Lopez, they tend to select the upset with the most on the line in terms of titles. Teofimo was the lineal and unified (some considered undisputed) champion so I’m pretty sure they’ll go with that.
