I prefer fighters to not use training camps to get in condition. They should already be 95% at the start of the training camp, near enough at the weight limit and their conditioning on point.

This fight will be won and loss in training camp for Kell Brook. Right now, there looks to still be a lot of work which he needs to do.

If you think about it? In 8 weeks time, both fighters should really be ready.
Brook Crawford was a weird fight wasn't it and I didn't think he looked as bad as some people say. First fight in a while against one of the best around and I think some of the cards were in his favour albeit after only a few rounds. It wasn't the worst shot in the world that shook him and Crawford finished well that night (he's a good finisher).

agree on the 95% stuff. Live the life.

He's naturally bigger than Crawford though and walks around at a higher weight, has fought at a higher weight whereas Crawford was at 140lb not that long ago.

Crawford punished him badly when he went for the finish and even though Brook didn't hit the deck, you're right, his resistance is gone.

Khan is quicker than Crawford with his 1-2's and I think he'll be targeting those eye sockets.

When Crawford hit Brook, it was though he short-circuited temporarily and Bud just jumped on him.

Theyre both shot so it balances out.

Khan still has fast hands though. He could very well win, he could even win by TKO. I mean kell brook has broken both sides of his face already. They are doing it at 149 lbs, Brook hasnt consistently fought at 147 since 2016 and mostly fought at 154 since then. He his face is looking bloated so he will have a challenge just to get down in weight.

Khans chin is glass too so Brooks best strategy is to close the distance, pressure him and try to take him out. dont just box him on the outside

Well, not so much a conspiracy theory to say that Brook might simply just be short of elite level.

I think it’s a plausible conclusion that’s been overlooked, though, yeah, he might just be shot.

But what I’m saying is, it’s just as possible that any version of Golovkin, Spence and Crawford would always have beaten any version of Brook. Maybe he just appears shot because he lacks the lustre of the ‘0’ nowadays, and because he got stopped badly.

I do remember Dominic Ingle stating that 'Kell Brook at 154 pounds, is the best fighter he has ever seen'.

I believe this remark was made, leading up to the Golovkin fight. Ingle was explaining that Brook has always been in-between the weights of 147-160 pounds'.

And was even admitting back then that, making 147 pounds affects Brook's entire game.

Kell Brook would of probably went 12 rounds with Terrence Crawford at 154 pounds, and he may beat Amir Khan at that weight.

I think most keen observers of this match up, will get a better idea of who is going to win 'In 6 weeks time'. When the training footage, starts to appear during this build 'We will know whether Kell Brook is strong at the weight or not'.

Amir Khan's conditioning has never been in question, he was one of the very few fighters to push a peak Manny Pacquiao in training 'During conditioning drills'.

I don't really think Amir Khan is shot or whatever, he is just not at is peak. Where as Kell Brook seems to have been through a lot of trauma 'They both have, but Khan seems to have a ability to bounce back real quick'.
