Handle your personal issues. Then look to get a new trainer who can provide sound advice when you are in trouble.

Go to 140 and take on the best guy you can. My advice-go big. Agree to go to Taylor’s backyard and “Minter” him. Win and not only do you have 4 belts but you erase the stench of the Kambosis loss.

First thing you do if you win- rematch Kambosis.
why would taylor fight him? he just got battered by a heavy underdog. everyone has an excuse when they lose too, personal problems SMH

No excuse. He lost. He did have issues with his wife so I suggest he take care of those.

My guess is Taylor likes money and that’s a winnable fight that should generate revenue.

Are you suggesting if he beats Taylor (he won't) is to go back to 135 to try to avenge his defeat.

I must be misunderstanding because everything about that seems wrong. I think the only thing I've ever heard come out of Teo's Dad's mouth that is correct and logical, is that they need to move immediately to 140 and pass on the rematch.

Teofimo Sr. need to go, he needs to have a serious talk with his father about how they want to move forward. Keep him in the Corner if you want but that man should NOT be his head Trainer

I agree with Arnold Barboza Jr. but that aint no damn Tuneup or Get Back Fight after taking a L, Barboza is a BIG 140 and he is Technical with a Long Jab I think he Boxes Circles around Teofimo right now

Sensible option is to fight a guy with a decent ranking in the wbo at 140, then when Taylor moves up he's in a good position to fight for a vacant belt. He's going to have to be abit more realistic about his pay demands tho.

Any other young fighter, yeah move up to your comfortable weight.. but if he doesn't get his balls back from Kambo I see it weighing on him psychologically

What would I do if I was managing his career and had his best interest in mind? I would build back after the loss by having a warm up fight in 140 against Barrios or someone of his caliber and see how it goes.
