    I see the similarities though.

Manny is on a roll and has already a win at the weight just like Tito.

Cotto is getting disrespected and people think he doesnt have a chance like Hopkins was.

    Good observation!!!!
Nobody with boxing knowledge said Hopkisn had no chance, he wa sonly the undedogg. Hopkins unified the division one fight prior against a dangerous champion much like Clottey by destroying Kieth Holmes. Hopkins looked spectacular in all his fights back then.

Why do you talk about quitting when De La Hoya refused to come out for the 9th round against Pacquiao? Is that not quitting to you?

The comparison is based on the overall look of the fight and how both were perceived prior to the bell ringing. Cotto has the ability to give Manny a lot of trouble, and we don't know how Pacquiao's going to take shots from a prime WW. Everyone's assumptions on Pac winning are based on 2 fights and 2 fights alone (not really smart).
Come on Man, Cotto fight absolutely nothing like Hopkins.

Don't be a dumb ass Hopkins was an 8-1 underdog. No one gave Hopkins a chance so don't start making **** up.

Lets not get crazy here, the only thing he destroyed was my attention span during that fight
That fight was probably the reason he was the underdog, in hindsight kind of laughable but ppl didn't know about B-hop back then and all you saw was him eek out a lackluster win against Holmes and then Tito vaporize Joppy. That is what the odds were attributed to.
