i see where ur getting at

b hop ruled that division for nearly ten years and tito was a blown up welter weight and tito was on top of the world and people did'nt even know who b-hop was. but as far as styles tito was taylor made for b-hop counter punch and out box tito allday. cotto and pac r different cotto has better boxing skills and shown he can nuetralize speed and he's a good counter puncher and a good body puncher his money shot. pac has speed power and sum head movement he likes to jump in flurry and get out but he lack in defense.

Lmao. I don't think you watched the fight, or remember much about it. Hopkins did no holding. It was Holmes who was holding on for dear life when he was out on his feet numerous times.

Nothing Wrong with titos hand wraps he had too much gauze for Team B-Hop's comfort and they made himre-wrap, even teh commision told them it was OK. Even RJJ said he warps his hands the same way!!!!!!

            ****in people on here.

He OPENED the post, saying that stylistically, he doesn't see the fight the same way. He's not comparing Cotto to Bernard or Pac to Tito.

            He's just comparing the circumstances.

            And it's perfectly valid.

I mentioned right when i started the thread that I don't see the fight stylistically playing out the same. Where I see the similarities is how many are looking at Pacquiao to beat Cotto (like many did with Tito over Bernard) and on to fight Mayweather before the fight even takes place. I expect it to be a much cloer fight, but with Cotto being overall too much for Pac to handle down the stretch.
You're right, and you have a point. However, the mistake people made then was that Hopkins more of less ruled that division for years before Tito came up trying to take it from him.

Meh, gets kind or tiring. I only criticized Cotto after the Clottey fight for a lackluster effort, when in fact I have supported Cotto for almost all of his fights (including the Mosley fight). Since then I have been labeled a hater for stating what can be seen as true.

B-hop won based mostly on Holmes being scared and not doing anything offensive....they were both holding the way I remember it. If i am wrong, let me know because I saw it once only and when it was live.....and we know how long ago that was.

You probably have it mistaken for another fight. Hopkins did almost no holding in that fight. Matter of fact Hopkins used to not even hold much if at all back then. It only got ugly after the 10th round where Holmes was in survival mode, and was ready to go.
