That will show how watered down and useless these belts are. The best and biggest fight at lightweight, IMO, is Davis-Loma and if that fight is made, not one person will talk about what belts they hold. It would be bigger than any other (belts or not). Fighters make the belts, not the opposite. I don't think any of these current belts are worth holding.

Kambosos is with DiBella, and he has no network deal. So Hearn would promote the fight, and it would go on DAZN. Similarly Gervonta's people could try to do the same. The thing is that, Kambosos has stated that he wants a big stadium fight back in Australia with 80,000 people. Matchroom and DAZN are now operating in that territory and with Hearns experience of putting on large stadium shows it would be an easy fight to make. Also Kambosos has fought his last 2 fights on Matchroom shows and is singing their praises right now. Also Haney is the name that Kambosos seems to be favouring. So if Haney is prepared to travel its a no brainer for all. Would Gervonta Davis travel to Australia? I doubt it. And if you look at Ellerbe's comments, that Josh Taylor doesnt bring anything to the dance, then there's no way they will see Kambosos bringing anything to the dance either. And if they do pursue a Kambosos fight, then it just shows that his comments about Josh Taylor were all bull****, and that they are avoiding that one. Top Rank you can forget, because if Bob was willing to part with the cash, he'd have done so for Saturday's fight. He was talking just fine in his post fight press conference after Barrios, and when asked about what was next he just looked around at Floyd and looked like a lost kid. Floyd was caught out as his head was buried in his phone at the time. But he recovered well and told us all what we already new about keeping it in-house. That will rule out Kambosos then.

Its a joke & it’s all about the sanctioning fees. Instead of this ****** franchise ***** they shoulda just changed their rules & said, “The WBC champ has the option to forego mandatories, if there is a more lucrative or higher demand fight to be made, or if the champ is pursuing another title.”

Someday he might burn his bridges with PBC and Floyd. Not yet. Now he's coming into himself more and more as he also learns about the business side of boxing (which is why he doesn't wanna throw names out there). He doesn't need to rock his boat yet.
