Someday he might burn his bridges with PBC and Floyd. Not yet. Now he's coming into himself more and more as he also learns about the business side of boxing (which is why he doesn't wanna throw names out there). He doesn't need to rock his boat yet.

Gervonta is an intelligent enough guy. And i believe he speaks well. But you can see they try to stop him saying certain things. Its ridiculous. Its only to stop them getting a hard time as they make excuse for not taking the fights the public wanna see. Gervonta needs to get vocal so that it puts pressure on Ellerbe and Mayweather, and if it comes to a head, so be it. He's a true talent and needs the big fights. Not, no damn Romero/Cruz or Barrios.

That comment was in response to one of mine. I've said nothing about PBC falling apart or had no dig at PBC. I stated that Davis was not talking freely as Ellerbe and Mayweather seem to inhibit some of what he is allowed to respond to. If you read the previous comments you will have seen that. Given that you are a man who shows fine intellect on this forum and I'm assuming is meticulous in your reading of the comments within it, I can only assume you you are having an off day. Yes indeed. And he too deserves that big homecoming. I hope the potential opponent's are willing to travel as it will be huge in his country and he deserves the right of home advantage and his own fanbase from time to time, given that most of his big fights will still land in the US.

The WBC says he's the undisputed champion. Franchise world champions hold a higher status than regular world champions, just as the WBA's super world champions hold a higher status than regular world champions.

The WBC are not a definitive authority on this. The other 3 say he's not. Franchise is not the world title. Who is the Franchise champ at 147. There isn't one. It's not available to all fighters in all divisions, therefore it's not a world title and therefore not part of undisputed. FACT.
