Couldn’t believe what I was hearing when it happened live. I mean I knew Sr was a delusional clown but even for him, wtf. I don’t know what he’s on but Teo has to cut him loose as his trainer.

People say Danny’s dad acted “like a crackhead” but he never was this bad and always knew Danny was the one in the ring and wanted what’s best for him. I honestly think Teo sr cares more about himself than helping his son.

For me it felt like Angel at least watched Youtube videos of how to corner and give advice and maybe talk to another trainer

His dad is deluded and horrible as a trainer. He was giving him bad advice in the corner, and he is not telling teofimo what he needs to hear. There was no sense of urgency too. Teofimo at this rate might end up like broner. Deluded as F, but still thinks he is the hot ****...

I remember seeing scandalous sparring drama on YouTube about Teo. Something like he got KO'd or rocked in sparring and his dad jumped in, threw the guy out of the gym and dragged his name through the mud. Took it with a grain of salt but I believe it now.

He just wants the $$$ and the Fame, he don't know sh^t about boxing, gave his son ZERO Strategy/Boxing Advice just a bunch of "What Are You Doing?!?" "F^ck Him Up!"

He was too emotional.

Which made Teofimo too emotional.

Teofimo has a low IQ though, so when he gets too emotional, he goes full tard.

Which is exactly what happened.

But you know what? I feel like going into the last round, or whichever moment Teofimo stayed standing in the corner, it dawned on him how useless his father was.

His dad; coach, told him absolutely f/ucking nothing going into the last round. Told him nothing useful and sent him off to the last round.

But.... that still isn't as bad as Porter's dad.

Teofimo's dad might be a jackass and pointless as anything significant in a boxer's camp... But at least he won't throw in the towel because he couldn't figure out anything to say to his fighter.

After the end of the fight when Lopez had his cut being really attended to and Kambosas was over shaking the corners hand when he tried to talk to Sr he was too busy hugging 2 guys posing for the camera (completely ignoring his son who looked like a lost child). Ridiculous.

That was absolutely nuts, who knew you could give so much bad contradicting corner advice in just one minute? And Sr feels he did nothing wrong, he’s like a stuck up woman with no accountability.
