Who will Kambosos face next?

I know it’s for undisputed which should be meaningful but does that fight really sell? I get Baldomir vs Spinks vibes for that one.
If I was DAZN I’d be looking to get Garcia the fight over Haney.Comment

I have been saying for years that fighting with his mouth open will eventually get Devin Haney's jaw broken and I stand by that.Comment

Al Haymon fired DiBella. Still, Haymon doesn't have much of a say in Gervonta's matchmaking, zero influence on that. It's all Floyd. Ellerbe is Floyd's puppet. Floyd gets along with Lou, from what I know, but I don't think they are even considering this. Davis isn't that interested in the belts either, also from what I know.
Kambosos should fight whoever brings him the most money, sans Davis. That's a mismatch I don't wanna see at all.Comment

Idk if I would call Teo a former reigning champ when he's had 0 successful lineal title defenses
Kambosos will be better in his next fight.
His last three fights were big step up fights.
He went from fighting at the domestic level to fighting the American former IBF lightweight champion in the US.
Then he fought the British former IBF featherweight champion in a title eliminator in the UK.
Then he fought the American reigning unified, lineal lightweight champion in the US.
He had a close win over Mickey Bey, then he stepped up and had a close win over Lee Selby, then he stepped up again and had a clear win over Teofimo Lopez. This is how a fighter is supposed to progress at the world level. He's learning on the fly. Before he fought Bey I had literally never heard of a single fighter on his resume.
The next person who fights Kambosos will be seeing the best version of Kambosos yet. He now has 34 rounds at the world level under his belt.
but I get the rest of your point. I agree.

Lopez was the lineal champion. That's literally what happened. Whether he defended it successfully or not, he was the lineal champion of the world at the time of the fight.Comment
