But this definitely karma for him acting the way he been acting.. and ironic if there is no rematch clause
This is the word I've been trying to think of, karma

      Gotta agree with this

Loma's arrogance was ultimately his downfall

OP does have a point tho, Lopez is in the same position Loma was when he lost to him

      Tough ish I guess

there should have been a rematch, it would have made him a lot of money aswell, probably never make that sort of money again in a fight after his last loss. it wasnt some one sided fight like a lot of losers on here say who will always go over the top, it was very close and really loma won 5 of the last 6 rounds. i dont know why he started so slow, maybe he got his tactics wrong and thought he could get him out of their late, maybe he really was wary about lopez power but a rematch would have been logical and answered a lot of questions. fact that lopez ran from it makes me think he knew he lucked out that loma literally didnt start throwing till second half of the fight, it was an odd fight really too with no fans, ring rust from covid. i dont know why lopez made out it was some crime not to have a rematch clause,a champion shouldnt be going into the fight thinking he would lose, what sort of mentality is that? hes a gob****e himself so i dont know why hes crying about someone else being 'arrogant'

It’s crazy because tough, competitive fights don’t need rematch clauses to have a rematch. It’s sad. A true competitor, a fighter with pride, you don’t need to tell them twice to rematch a fighter who was competitive. Historically speaking, you don’t need to tell a true fighter twice. No convincing needed.

Lopez, for one reason or another did not rematch Lomachenko and to my knowledge, will not rematch Kambosos. The “weight” reason is 100% valid with not fighting Kambosos. But I am sure something can be negotiated. But it won’t be for some reason.

So for one reason or another, Lopez will not rematch Lomachenko and Kambosos. Two tough fights. That’s never a good look.
