arum didn't say he wouldn't do it... he just said floyd is too hard to work with because he asks for too much money.

Why would you want to denigrate half of your money-making equation in a very public forum?
that's the thing, floyd wants more than half.

From his response, it seems like he doesn't want to put Pac or Cotto in with Floyd for fear of the loss.
no, he can't put pac or cotto in with floyd because floyd won't come to the negotiation table w/ reasonable numbers.

Mayweather vs Pac would do 3x the revenue of Pac-Marquez III
yep, but floyd gotta go 50/50.

He stinks his opponent out = he will win an ugly decision.
let's be honest, floyd is not a risk taker in the ring. imho that's what makes him a brillaint boxer, but people wanna see action.

Side note: "he shoots up cars" is a slanderous statement.
floyd probably did that on purpose so peeps don't try and rob him... they know where his house is and where he keeps the ***elry... floyd just putting it out there that he got guns in the house and will shoot.

He made multiple indirect and direct slanderous statements. .... The only fighter they(UFC,MMA) might wanna see is probably Kelly Pavlik (Arum are you calling Pavlik a skinhead.

That's mainly because Kelly's hairline started to recede in junior high school.

Kelly Pavlik is the Benjamin Button of boxing.

Pull, you spend dollars. Not percentages.

            Would you rather have 30% of $100 Mn...or 50% of $50 Mn??

That's what Arum is really afraid of.
during the press conference the other day, Pacquaio said he would fight until his last drop of blood in tagalog.

...then again, he could still technically "fight" for the Philippines as a politician.

I honestly feel Manny is not very happy with his relationship with Arum knowing he could be running his own show and not have to pay to have his fights promoted. But that's my opinion. He has a contract to honor until it ends or until he decides to buy it out from Arum.

In fairness to Arum as his promoter, he has been able to secure some big fights Manny would not have otherwise been able to put together himself without the right connections.

The thing of it is a multi-million dollar mega fight would put him on easy street for a long time to come. He wouldn't need to sacrifice as much time away from his family, and after a long layoff he can decide to come back as a free agent and continue to fight if he so chooses to or quit altogether and dedicate himself in service to his country.

His options will be open while he's still in his prime.

Arum is getting a big chunk of the profit margin from both Cotto & Pac. And judging from what Arum stated in that video he would rather NOT deal with Mayweather Promotions. Which would rob Pac and the fans of a huge event.

If both Pac & Floyd win their fights - And if Arum still doesn't want to negotiate with Mayweather, then Pac should force Arum's hand. Negotiate with Mayweather of I'll buy out of the contract and make it happen without you.

Clearly Pac, Floyd and everyone else involved can see the HUGE dollars at stake and should be willing to flex and bend a little to make the fight happen. It just makes business sense.

If both Pac & Floyd win their upcoming fights ... a matchup between the two of them will break all Box Office\PPV\Theater records. And no one should stand in the way of such an event. Especially some ****head Promoter.

I don't see this fight happening. Simply because the Mayweather vs Arum beef won't allow it to.
