well this is not surprising. mayweather is the best fighter of our generation, so of course a fight against him would jeopardize the pacquiao bandwagon money cow combo. ^_^

Floyd represent an A-class fighter taking his destiny into his own hands and coming out on top. Floyd is an independent record label that had the ability to distribute, promote, and finance its own product. If that trend blossomed, what would be the point of a Top Rank and King promotions. This makes no sense. As a promoter, wouldn't you want to put your fighter into the BIGGEST possible fight? Why would you want to denigrate half of your money-making equation in a very public forum?

From his response, it seems like he doesn't want to put Pac or Cotto in with Floyd for fear of the loss.

I mean in millions, I can't remember how much he made against Chop Chop. Commentators did say how much he made but I don't remember, although I have the fight, I'm too lazy to run threw it.

For Castillo though Gatti, Floyd was making USD 3-4 Mn PER fight. Gatti was the first PPV fight, and he got a share of PPV revenue.

If Floyd cant agree 50-50, than no point negotiating with him. If he didnt retire and fought Mosley or Margarito or Cotto than he should of gotten the bigger percentage.
