I disagree. Spence worked him over pretty easily, he outboxed Porter on the inside. Outside of a few nice counters from Porter that fight was all Spence.

Nah it was too many swing rounds tho..but I see where ya coming from.

But which fight you thought was more clear Thurman, Brook, or Spence? No point in bringing up Ugas he should have lost

Spence is the boogyman? Guy couldn't get out of the building fast enough last weekend. Never seen a boogyman run away like that.

It was always between them 2 for king of the division originally as i say i'm not even a Spence fan so not like i'm saying he has chance or going to win fact is that's for top of the division.

Shawn Porter deserves every boxing fan’s respect. Spence was way more overrated than Porter has ever been.

Shawn is a winner, and the guy has paths aplenty to successfully travel. He set, in my opinion, a better standard for boxers' behavior, and he absolutely lights it up as an announcer/commentator. I think he's a leader who could successfully run for public office, or star in a Showtime series. He's a natural.

Shawn Porter is the american version of Derek Chisora 'But ever so slightly more sophisticated'.

Porter's style was always going to gain him plenty of supporters, and promoters where always going to give him opportunities.

I would say people have overrated him slightly, only the sense that? People would sometimes speak as if he was elite. Shawn Porter is a world class fighter, and has pretty much been a gatekeeper for the latter part of his career.

When Terrence Crawford faced Shawn Porter, he was in the same position as Oleksandr Usyk when he faced Derek Chisora. Both Crawford and Usyk where facing fighters, who where world class gatekeepers 'If you can get past these type if fighters, you are world class in that division'.

So overall, I do think people got carried away a bit with Porter. But I think most people knew, he was just a tough, durable fighter 'Who did not have elite level skills'.

Shawn Porter has had great career, left it all in the ring.

Bud was the last one to the I beat Porter show.
Not that great of a win.
Porter was a decent gatekeeper.
Bud has to hurry his ass up. He needs 7 quality opponents in a row to make his resume respectable.
