Lopez will win tonight and all his haters will be making excuses about why he was suppose to win anyway. People need to mute the interviews and face offs and just watch the fights. Too many people get invested into the fighter personalities they lose focus on the fighters skills. These guys in the business to win fights, NOT to win a popularity contest.

But nobody is expecting Kambosas to win so those won’t be “excuses.” Teo has gotten heat for dragging this fight against a b level guy for a year, looking bad in not granting Lomachenko a rematch, and the Haney fiasco.

I disagree. Teo won fair and square but the fight was definitely close enough to grant a rematch given that Lomachenko was the P4P best and unified champ. I think we can all admit that we will see a completely different Lomachenko in the rematch and Teo knows this. Plus it’s still the biggest money fight for both men due to fan demand.

Loma TKOd Nakatini (who gave Teo hell) and is fighting Commey next. I’d say that’s fighting his way back to a shot compared to the other contenders at lightweight.

I must say, there is a strange aura about this fight 'And Teofimo Lopez'.

After analyzing both fighters, I do think Lopez has a extra gear 'And it is that gear which should win him the fight'

But skill for skill, he is not light years ahead of Kambosos Junior 'He is a solid fighter all around'.

I am not looking for a reason to back Kambosos Junior, but maybe he makes this a tougher fight than expected.
