With the high possibility of Mchunu pulling a Yarde and not accepting step aside money on the possibility that if he wins he’ll get a bigger oayday to fight Canelo and accepting step aside money. Reynoso said they will look at ohter options for a may fight if it happens.

With Beterbiev finishing his WBC mandatory obligation in December against Marcus Browne. Beterbiev will be free to take a voluntary defense as he also fought his ibf mandatory against Adam Deines.

Joe Smith has a fight against Callum Johnson next in January.

Bivol is fighting Umar Salamov in December. This is interesting because Salamov is already the WBO mandatory to Joe Smith Jr. and Joe Smith is a way more easier fight than Bivol.

Maybe Bivol will pull a Kovalev or Loma and ask the WBO to make him Mandatory if he beats Salamov. Doing that can make him avoid Zurdo, who’s next fight will be for the WBA mandatory spot.

Smith Jr is tailor made for making him look good, but of all 4 Makabu is probably seen as the most achievable...

Don't be so sure he beats Sir Marcus. Sir Marcus is BIG, not only can he punch but he has great boxing skills too. He lost to a cheating jean pascal on STEROIDS. Canelo will not fight sir Marcus if he wins. He is also an expert on ******currency.

The right answer for me is the fight he’s willing to make with no monkey business hidden in the contract.
Makabu is an excellent fight at 200 with no hydration clause. Beterbiev is an even better fight at 175 with no hydration clause. Smith and Bivol are good fights too.

The facts are that Canelo don't fight guys anymore coming off of great performances but if he does fight Beterbiev coming off of a great performance I'd be surprised and all credit to him

Any combination of Charlo, Andrade and Benevidez would be excellent. A win against one of the other two should vault them ahead in the Canelo queue.
