You simply cannot compare apples to oranges.... I personnally don't care for MMA. In my opinion, there's no "art" in mixed martial arts.

Again this is only my opinion, but MMA is never going to have the "class" that boxing has...

I respect the UFC/MMA guys because it takes balls to stare-down an opponent whether you're in a ring or a cage, I just wouldn't pay to see it.

Im not an MMA fan, I'll only watch it it there's a party or it's at the bar. I don't hate it. I just never watch it.
That being said Bob Arum just sounds like an idiot. Like he's a 16 year old girl.

Hey Bob Arum how about you work on your own promoting and make goodfights with good undercards. Instead of stacking your **** with a bunch of fights that are over in 2 rounds.

This is ridiclious, I don't go to ANY sporting events because the seats are filled with boozed up meathead idiots, regardless of the sport.

Gina isn't hot, their are a lot better looking female fighters.

And go to a gym tough guy and find some female fighters and tell them its only a spectacle.

You don't even know the sport! It's MMA not UFC, what the hell is wrong with people? That's like "OOO, lets go play some NBA!" Or "I want to go play some NFL"

How exactly is it inferior? Do people who think like you have any clue how to integrate a combination of martial arts? No, of course not. It's combat sports, it's not possible for one to be superior to another, there is only personal preference.

Boxing has better athletes, is a polished product, is/take a lot longer to conquer/become a world champion. When MMA produces an Ali we'll talk. Or maybe produce fighters that carry their backs on their nations. UFC is the hot thing in North America ages 18-35.

The most exciting aspect of MMA according to most fans I know is the striking. Hello Boxing. Sure boxing has dud fights, corruption, too many sanctioning bodies, too many beltholders, etc etc. I understand that. But show me MMA's version of Barrera-Morales, or Castillo-Corrales, or Gatti Ward, or Bowe-Holyfield, Leanord-Hearns etc etc etc. Boxing at it's very best cant be matched by anything MMA can produde. Not financially, not globally, not sponsor wise. History shows this.
