Why do fans of both sports care what the hell any promoter says about anything? The point is to sell a product at all costs. The exact same as politics, it has nothing to do with reality, integrity or rational thought.

I watch both sports. i only spend money on boxing, i bought jones/lacy so u knw how addicted i am. i streamed silva's fights though.

i hope the boxing promoters feel threatened and step the *** up n make the mega matches.

And go to a gym tough guy and find some female fighters and tell them its only a spectacle.

How exactly is it inferior? Do people who think like you have any clue how to integrate a combination of martial arts? No, of course not. It's combat sports, it's not possible for one to be superior to another, there is only personal preference.

Yea, I'm the same way. I'll pay for boxing but not a UFC fight and the ones I do watch are few and far between its an entertaining sport, and I do see the skills these guys use, especially St. Pierre. Still, boxing is far more entertaining to me and I feel requires more from the fighter than UFC does in terms of conditioning and punishment they can take.

What is wrong with them? Don't they know they can only be boxers?
