I don't know about how easy it was but I did give DLH 4 of the first 6 rounds I believe when he was using his jab. Once he stopped jabbing, Mayweather took over. I agree with him that the fight was winnable for him.

What can you say? The man has a fight to sell.

I was surprised that I was able to connect with my jab so easily. And he didn’t know what to do after the jab connected. It would stop him in his tracks. I was surprised that in 37 (previous) fights no one could figure that out. The simplest weapon, the easiest one to throw, is the punch that has the most effect on him. He just didn’t know what to do with it. He panics. And when you get him into a panic mode, that’s when you have him. Marquez knows that. Nacho Beristain [Marquez’s trainer] has studied Mayweather.

I don't have the round-by-round numbers but here are final compubox numbers

              Source: http://www.boxrec.com/media/index.ph...Mayweather_Jr.

              -----------

Based on these numbers, Dela Hoya landed only 40 jabs the entire fight (~ 3.33 jabs landed per round)

I think Oscar has brain damage. I had him losing a wide UD.

Oscar jab worked..unitl Mayweather timed it..thats what goo dfighters do..they adjust.

Oscar lost 8 rounds to 4.

He stopped trowing the jab becasue he kept getting peppered and countered.
