The Boss Move was putting Fundora vs. Garcia, and Dervy vs. Adames on the under card! That sold it for me!

Like Mayweather, there's a sizable chunk of the fans out there who would simply want to see him lose. There's those sales too. Some must depend on them because when a boxer acts counter to what fans see as positive, they disapprove. Yeah the bad guy thing. And promoters like Mayweather don't help much.

Ellerbe is one annoying ass mug. That nose too. I think Haymon bends this guy over while Leonard wears his selection of Elton John signature series shades

Yeah he has wide appeal. He’s knocking people out and acts like he doesn’t give a ****. Like a mini Mike Tyson.

Mayweather CEO Ellerbe is correct, Tank is not just for the hood. He will not go out as another Broner, he has the capabilities to become a mainstream fighter. He has the skills and KO-ratio to appeal to both boxing hardcores and the casuals.

Folk paying money for Tank vs A Sure Thing is the problem in boxing, At 135 it seems Haney is the only one who's willing to mix it up with these orchestrated champions avoiding each other! As long as that ATM machine keep giving $'s this bs will continue.

To be fair, Haney is the worst of the bunch and would be stopped by Tank quite easily. Boxing is a sport about money, sadly, but it is. We hate it as fans but we love the sport.

I am disappointed at the way they are handling Tank, but I am truly behind him, I want to see black americans succeed, stay on the straight and narrow and not get caught up in the system like Broner has. I believe everyone should support Tank and I hope and pray that the people close to him are giving him good advice and he takes heed.

I felt like a concerned parent after I saw Broner and Tank were really close, that man Broner is no good

Actually ellerbe is 100% correct. I'm from Montana n my city/town population is a few hundred k. It's an agricultural state that is very rural n remote in areas. On top of that I'm native American from the blackfeet Indian reservation n I'm a fan of tank. Actually there's a boxer from where I'm from that fought Javier Martinez n that espino kid.

Take a look at p4p lists and you'll see guys who cleaned out divisions, moved up and fought the best guys in other divisions and guys who have fought many years against the best around their weight classes. Then you have Tank Davis who's done none of that

To be fair to Haney, he is among the better naturally gifted of the bunch, he's just really lacking in technique compared to the others and even Linares. But he has a new coach now? So maybe that'll be fixed up in the up-coming JoJo Diaz fight and we'll see if he has sharpened up what he was clearly lacking vs Linares.
