Good fight, hopefully the winner can move forward with fights against the other top guys in the division; SSR, Estrada, Neites, Choco etc.

Lets see how he does vs. Sor Rungvisai II in the upcoming WBC Superfly tournament.

I personally scored Nietes vs. Ioka in favor of Kazuto ; too bad that Donnie vacated the WBO, I wanted to see the rematch. Its also worth mentioning that JFE vacant the 'Super' WBA flyweight title and moved up to 115, even though the WBA called for a purse-bid for Kazuto Ioka ( the regular WBA flyweight champion ) vs. Juan Francisco Estrada ( Super flyweight champ ). Nevertheless, the Japanese 4 weight-champ has had a outstanding HOF career.

It will be interesting to see where the boxing experts rank Kazuto Ioka and Carlos Cuadras, should they be successful vs. Ancajas & Rungvisai. The Superfly division is the best division in boxing.
i was so disappointed that estrada moved up instead of fighting ioka. that fight would have crowned the new lineal champion at flyweight immediately after gonzalez moved up and it became vacant. nietes wanted estrada too at the moment and eventually moved up too late. estrada wasn't at 100% at the time though because of the injury and long lay off. he would have lost to ioka and nietes have they fought at the time. all of them chased gonzalez because a fight against him would be their biggest payday. we never got estrada - nietes and estrada - ioka because of that. then sor rungvisai derailed everybody's plans.
now almost all of them are old for small guys. chocolatito and nietes are on the verge of retirement and i suspect ioka is too (for good this time). sor rungvisai will be 36 next year and he hasn't looked good since estrada 1 almost 4 years ago. not one of them fought inoue and it seems nobody will. i don't blame anybody, it's just a fact. we were blessed with some great fights but we were denied several great ones too.
if chocolatito officially won estrada 2, i would have liked to see him vs. nietes (2 4 division champions) with the loser retiring and the winner fighting estrada next and retiring after that. then i would have liked estrada - ioka and the winner to move up and fight inoue (who by that time would have fought casimero). i am talking about legendary fights in the lower weights here. but since estrada won the rematch in march, we are probably not gonna see any of this.

        superfly is really the best.

I have to disagree with your assessment of Carlos Cuadras's ranking at 115, although I am a fan he not near as accomplished as Ioka, but I think I understand what you are saying : that at 115 he ( Cuadras ) might beat Ioka.
You think Ioka and Nietes are HOF fighters? Estrada is borderline.......

Kazuto Ioka, is the first four-weight Japanese champion in the history of the sport. His only two defeats were to Amnat Ruenroeng, and Donnie Nietes ; both were by split-decision. Ioka, has beaten multiple notable world-champions ; he will be brought up as a nominee, guaranteed.

I'll admit Donnie Nietes, who holds a win over Ioka also came from mini-weight, is a stretch at the moment an hes reaching 40 ; still even at that age you wont find many prime fighters that poses his skills.

only canelo, donaire and roman gonzalez have a better resume than estrada of all the active fighters. there are several on the same level. who are they going to induct if they skip estrada?! nietes is like leo gamez for now (on the ballot but without a chance for now). ioka is borderline. i am not talking about their skill. hall of fame voters don't follow every good fighter...

Japan ending the boxing year in style once again. Murata/GGG and Ioka/Ancajas within days of each other.

                  Another good fight at 115

Cuadras has proven he belongs with all three of those guys in the ring. Ioka has never fought any of the four.
No way in hell Cuadras won the first fight vs Estrada.

I think most people would put Chocolatito, Estrada, Sor Rungvisai, and Cuadras above all four of them and people just want to see the rematches between those four.

I'm going to watch this fight but I have Ioka a level below those four and I have Ancajas several levels below Ioka, unless Ioka is just totally shot.
Out of your mind if you think Cuadras is better than Ioka. He's behind Nietes and Ancajas also.
