IBF should order Ennis - Abdukakhorov for interim IBF title

Spence has been inactive since 5.12. 2020 and he holds 2 title hostage.

Other guys have careers too. Just make damn fight for interim IBF belt, Spence must face the winner if he wants to stay a champ.

Spence has been inactive for less than a year. He's not getting stripped that soon.

But his IBF mandatory has been due for a while. IF he truly wants a tune up fight before fighting either Ugas/Crawford, then taking that fight in February or March makes sense.

spence hasn't fought a mandatory for almost 4 years! it's adonis stevenson level ridiculous. spence wants to move up but he doesn't want to fight charlo (who himself waits for at least one of golovkin, his brother and andrade to move out of the way). he doesn't want to fight thurman (it seems he hates keith for not giving him an opportunity earlier), crawford, young guns (ennis and ortiz) and ugas is worthless to him without a belt (stanionis fight is already ordered). at 147 it's either kudratillo abdukakhorov or kick rocks. if spence doesn't want to fight kudratillo now then i am all for the interim belt (or even a full vacant one) between the 2 highest ranked fighters (abdukakhorov - ennis). nobody is bigger than the whole division.
interim belt is important because the owner is upgraded to full champion status if the current champion moves up, retires or straight up ducks a fight. if those same boxers fought a final eliminator, the winner would have nothing. he would have to fight for a vacant belt (2 fights instead of one for the title). interim belt is meaningless when the champion is active but spence is extremelly inactive.
