Ive yet to see how either of these guys look. Im going to assume Ortiz is not totally aged out, and go with him in a close split decision type fight.

Could be but I like the sound of a determination of Martin and probably has been training hard the entire time . Ortiz most likely doing that middle aged work outs to stay busy ,I think a controversial win by Ortiz is also likely I see it going 12 with Ortiz fading by mid rounds . I’d take Martin though here which is assuming he doesn’t wait and hope for a win if he coasts and doesn’t go for a knockout which is hard in this one unless Ortiz does tire but Martin can help him along with some hard landing shots. .

True but these Cubans seem to stay sharp pass 40, but then again Candyman about to turn 80

Martin has one virtue which should not be overlooked. He gets better. He still is somewhat behind the curve, but has consistently improved. Ortiz is relying on past glory but has some real skills attained. I do think Ortiz will need to have a second wind.

Also: The age thing, the lay off, etc will affect the older guy more Kudos. More and more Im liking Martin lol. Im going to keep with Ortiz to make it interesting lol.

shiaaaat! Ortiz Old! (someone has to say "How Old?")

Ortiz so ole he was calling out Jack Johnson last fight!
Ortiz so ole... He thought he could go back to Cuba and grab a Cuban sandwich before coming back to fight Martin...
Ortiz so ole that when the ref comes in to review the rules with him and Charles Martin he thought the ref was reviewing the Marquis Queensbury Rules!

I like the Martin attitude, stating he’s coming for A.J . It shows he wants to win fights though I doubt that rematch happens I think there’s just to good of fighters now unless somehow Martin became mandatory and A.J will have to win his rematch which I believe he will .

I also like Frank Mir tonight ,I believe the rules will let him avoid a loss with dirty boxing allowed but it’s Mir ? I’m going to get it it’s an MMA vs Boxing event where points are tallied up from each individual fight and the team I guess gets the bigger purse or something ? Should be interesting in a triangle ring ,should give anyone with physically stronger body’s the advantage.

Ortiz, even at 137 years old, is gonna smoke Martin in a few rounds. Would like to see Ortiz VS Ruiz after.
