No doubt. He fought the first half of that fight very timid, like he didn't think he had a chance of winning. Towards the end of the fight, it looked like he had Kownacki in trouble and I think he would have won (draw at the worst) and probably got the stoppage if it was a 12 rounder.

That's really the old man's only chance IMO. Martin sometimes take a few rounds to get fully engaged, I don't recall him ever really having any stamina issues.

Ortiz, on the other hand, typically gasses out after about 5-6 rounds. I don't think it goes the distance either way. Either Ortiz early or Martin mid to late rounds stoppage. Martin can crack pretty hard and I don't see a gassed Ortiz surviving a late onslaught if he doesn't get Martin out before the halfway point.

He fights down to his level of opposition meaning if it’s a person with a name and noted accomplishments, Charles will fold up even if the other fighters going on 60 years old!

Wilder and AJ's kids playing together, how cute. The ppv part not so much....what a fcukin joke that is. Prob does more buys than crawford/bud though, thats the saddest part.

They can take away the broads. They can take away the Rolls Royce. But they can’t take away that Charles Martin is in the history books as World Heavyweight Champion

All the haters be damned. This is an interesting fight to see if Martin has improved enough to beat a more skilled aging veteran that still has KO power. Not PPV worthy but anybody interested in this division should be curious about where these contenders are in the grand scheme of things.

I'd love to see a rematch with Joshua and Ruiz not wanting that smoke raises a few questions.

He couldn't KO Kownacki, also needs to lose the dred(s). I think having the extra hair effects his stamina.

You have to give credit to Charles Martin, he never just disappeared after his loss to Anthony Joshua. Both Martin and Breazeale where true to their word, both where adamant that losing to Joshua would not change their effort in the game.

That Anthony Joshua who fought Martin 'Most likely would of beaten Uysk'.

He couldn't get a rematch out of Eddy, and Eddy thrives on rematches.

Andy? He blew out his knee trying to lift 400 pounds. He claims it was already sore, so the best thing to do is to overload it? OK.
