All great fights you mention. The guys Davis has been fighting lately, I don't think anyone would put in a top six. That's what's frustrating. You can't get the top couple of guys, fair enough. But the next best has to be the one. These guys are way down the list. I get the LSC angle, with getting him started on PPV. But since then it's just not good enough and certainly not PPV. And when I say if you can't get the top couple of guys, the most disappointing thing is they're not even trying to get them. But I keep reiterating that this doesnt mean Davis is avoiding the big fights. Imo he'll fight anybody. He is indeed being protected, so I have to disagree with Gervonta on this one.

No top guys fighting each other? Didn't the two top guys at 135 fight each other? You know Lopez and Loma, I mean even Haney is now fighting Diaz, I wouldn't say Diaz is a top guy, but much better than the guys Davis has been fighting, Even Garcia fought Campbell, who is also better, who has Tank fought at 135 exactly? Davis has officially taken the torch from Crawford, as boxings most protected fighter.

Jojo Díaz is way better than any fighter in Davis resume and that’s a fact

The correct answer is always “my promoter xxx is handling my business negotiations. I’ll fight anybody, anywhere, anytime.”

I don’t know why teofemo Lopez name keeps getting mentioned, when did he last fight since winning against the smaller on a bad night loma?
these current or modern “top class” people think their entitled to this or that, it makes me puke.
davis should be fighting all these fellah calling him out.
Lopez should just go out and fight but he’s just doing the Hollywood walk since winning against the smaller loma.
haney,Garcia, Campbell etc should all just stop whining and agree fight and not cry about the money or views on tv.
hunger for money has never been worse than this, there are only a few these days that live humble lives and figt for the glory of becoming the champion of the world. There should only be one champion of the world in any sport.

Two guys for sure called him out and he popped up on them both times.

Ryan Garcia called him out and Gervonta immediately sent paperwork. Then Ryan Garcia ducks out of the fight.

Romero called him out and Gervonta immediately sent paperwork. Then Romero goes and gets a sexual assault charge.

People hate on the man for nothing other than, they hate Mayweather, so they hate anything associated with Mayweather. Which is just asinine. Gervonta doesn't talk about other fighters just to talk about other fighters. He isn't on twitter like Ryan Garcia talking about x fighter is afraid. Gervonta is really fighting and taking risks out there. These other guys aren't doing it. Teofimo postponed the Kambosos fight 3 times, letting his own flame die out by not continuing to fight off the hype of beating Lomachenko.

Gervonta hasn't went sideways yet. I'll reserve criticism until he pulls a clear Teofimo. Where you fight an elite then refuse to rematch and then talk trash but proceed to not fight elites while also putting off tier 2 fights.

What is Davis's excuse now ?

Teo wants bigger fights Taylor, Crawford
Haney no one will take a fight
                Garcia injuries

Even if one of those guys beat the others and signed a long time contract with the PBC I don't honestly think Tank would fight him and I don't think Tank is the problem, he'd be told not to.

I don't like the term "protected" for our time period! We know the politics of the game, and some things are just common sense! FOX didn't give money to Al Haymon, so he can send his star Tank Davis to fight Devin Haney on DAZN! ESPN didn't give an exclusive contract to Bob Arum, so he could send his star Terence Crawford to fight Errol Spence on FOX! DAZN didn't give money to Eddie Hearn so his star Anthony Joshua to fight Deontay Wilder on SHO! There are times when a co-promotion makes sense, i.e. May vs. Pac, Fury vs. Wilder, but those fights are few and far in between! What I hate is when all the stars are aligned, and we still don't get those fights, like Tank vs. GRJ, Charlo vs. Benavidez, Stevenson vs. Valdez, Andrade vs. GGG, Mikey vs. Prograis, Haney vs. Garcia, "Zurdo" vs. Bivol, etc.!

These guys aren't the new "4 Kings." Until they start fighting each other, they are the "4 Jokers"
