NOBODY was picking Pillow-fisted past it LSC - who had not had a ko in almost FIVE yrs prior to fighting Davis!! No comparison - just like the rest of the above ridiculous comparisons. Loma is still on all p4p list made by writers and expert insiders - deal with it! As Floyd famously said a few yrs ago - “Tank aint ready for Loma yet”…that after Davis was already a champ! Wont be ready until Loma is 40! Even on this site itself - which has pbc affiliated writers - Loma is still ranked #10 p4p. Davis doesn’t make the list bc his level of competition throughout his career is so WEAK and pitiful - especially this far into his career. Write to Boxingscene, or Ring magazine or Espn with all your “what ifs” and personal issues with Loma being a top p4p A-level fighter even now. Am sure u know more than the experts, insiders, writers who actually get paid for their boxing knowledge and expertise.
His 2nd pro fight but 26 years old! In 2014, Tank was only 20! So Tank has to be Mike Tyson to get his props, but Loma can lose a fight to fat, washed Salido, and still get his! Loma can drag Rigo up 2 weight classes, it's OK! Tank brings LSC up 1 weight class, he's a weight bully! Like I said, Loma always gets a pass! Tank is fighting the IBF #2 in an in-house fight, he's a pu**y! Loma swerves Devin Haney again, to fight Commey in an in-house fight, and all you hear are CRICKETS! Loma loses to Teofimo Lopez, no problem! I could only imagine if Spence lost to Boots, or Canelo lost to Berlanga, or Fury lost to Jared Anderson! All hell would break loose!

your comparisons are so strange. imagine if ennis had 10 top wins and lost a super close fight to a top ranked fighter? yeah he would still be pretty good! according to you he would be a bum? thats weird.

you are comparing rigo to santa cruz? why lol. rigo was a top 5 p4p guy when loma fought him. i personally didnt like the fight but also at the same time rigo fans and anti loma haters seemed to want it, then afterwards it was a cherry pick according to those same people who wanted it? kind of silly but expected. no one wanted a santa cruz tank fight.
There's always an excuse for "Non-Americans!" Non-Americans like Kavaliauskas, Stanionis, and Butaev are getting title shots! Abdukakhorov is IBF #1, while Boots is IBF #3! Life is so hard for Eastern-Euros in the sport of boxing! GTFOH!

He beat Commey before that, who is a more accomplished championship level fighter than Cruz/Romero or Barrios and many others on Davis record. Haney has fought Linares this year and is now about to fight Diaz. These are far more accomplished fighters than what Davis is fighting in 2021. Loma has fought plenty top fighters and even Commey next is a more accomplished championship proven fighter than Davis opponents in 21. Josh Taylor has cleaned out the 140 lb division beating champions and championship level proven fighters. Davis is having a bum 2021 in comparison to these guys. They are fighting a better calibre. So Davis is not right. He is being protected. But do not confuse me saying this with him not wanting the big fights. I can see he's itching for those big fights. But he is being protected from them and that's just fact.
They re all prima donnas, all of them.
Neofimo should rematch Loma, but he knows he'll loose if he fights a 2 arm Loma.

sure Bro - imagine if they lost to the older former champ in their 2nd pro fight- regardless of age - and then went on to beat 3 top tier undefeated champions while winning 4 titles in different weight classes in their next 12 fights. Imagine that! U can only imagine it because - it will NEVER happen again! Assuming u will just ignore that historical accomplishment AGAIN. If ANY of the fighters u mentioned above made history like that - they would OBVIOUSLY get the props from the writers, commentators, this site, Ring magazine, Espn and the majority of the rest of the boxing world Loma’s gets. And for the record - Rigo called out and challenged Loma at that weight. And Cruz being ranked #2 by the IBF is laughable…who did he beat to earn that ranking? Any knowledgeable boxing fan knows the corrupt rankings of the organizations dont mean squat and are often manipulated to provide easy fights for the champions . Loma is greatness recognized..Davis weak record and level of competition even now is also recognized for what it is…get over it and accept the criticism of Davis and the praise for Loma from the writers, insiders, commentators, former fighters and the majority of the rest of the boxing world. Your comparisons just dont fly.

I know my comparisons don't fly...with some! Then there are those who KNOW what i'm speaking on! Loma is 17-2, and fighting Commey! He'll probably still be considered an ATG! Like you said, that will probably never happen again! We can agree on that!

Kool - enjoyed the back and forth “debate” w/o the name-calling some resort to. Until next time - be blessed.

                • Loma fought 2 guys in his first 3 fights that are probably better than anyone Tank has ever fought. Chew on that for bit

The bold perfectly describes me. I liked all your last flurry posts in this thread.
I'm optimistic Davis-Loma will eventually happen.

Rooting for anyone in Lopez-Kambosos? Who you picking?

                    • Boxers deserve respect. Calling them names ad nauseam is never cool. Fuck those who are calling Gervonta Davis names.
Address his skills and what he does in the ring. If you have nothing to say about that, STFU, respectfully.
