Like I said, he wasn't beating legends. But he beat all the champions, so that can't be argued against. Benavidez still got a lot to prove. He's a good fighter though, no doubt.Comment

Like I said, he wasn't too eager to unify while benavidez was the champ. I think he's the best challenge forginger at 168lbs. In a year or two, Morell jr. is going to be the man to beat. Be safe.Comment

Canelo was still doing his middleweight thing when benavidez was a champion, and also fought Kovalev at light heavyweight. When Canelo started his undisputed run at super middleweight, Benavidez wasn't a champion. You be safe too pal.Comment

He, saul, started his run against fielding back in 2018. He never mentioned the unificacion, soon after benavidez lost his title, he declared that he will unify the 168 division. Stay safe.Comment

I would hardly call that starting his run. When he fought Fielding he was still very much a middleweight and that fight took us by surprise. He then dropped back down as he still had unfinished buisness at 160. Then he fought Kovalev at 175. So if Canelo ever goes on and becomes undisputed at 175, do we say his run started with the Kovalev fight? I don't think so. He wasn't just hiding from Benavidez awaiting him to not be a champion anymore. He took bigger fights against Jacobs and Kovalev. I'm not a Canelo fan by the way, I'm simply pointing out that his undisputed run was against the champions that were there at the time. All of which incidently may well be better than Benavidez, as he has still to prove himself. I'll also point out that the guy who's post I commented on has not once responded, so that shows he has no strength in his statement. You at least have made a debate over it and I totally respect your opinions. Until next time.Comment

He fought fielding for a 168 belt in 2018. Moved back down and fought Jacob's, then moved up and fought kovalev, smith, Saunders and plant. Pretty much 2018 he went up. Never mention unification.
