It wasn't about beating the weakest champions. He beat ALL the champions and created history in the process. Im not saying he beat legends, but you can only beat the champions that are there, and nobody else was doing it.

That's fine. And what fights does he want to see for Davis? That's more important in my view. He's wasting a special talent.

As much as I'd love to see Canelo vs Benavidez it's not gonna happen. Not at 168 anyway. If Benavidez goes up to 175 and takes out Bivol or Beterbiev then I could see Canelo fight Joe Smith Jr then unifying with Benavidez eventually but all that is a long shot

No way Alvared fights Benavidez. It would be disrespectful to Fielding ,shot kovalev, Smith, Yildirim, Plant and Saunders

Its Haymon who has to man up. But it wont happen as buisness comes before legacy. Not what we fans want to hear.
Jermell is NOT cut from the same cloth as Jermall! Maybe that's what you meant to say? Jermell is the real deal! Jermall wants handouts!

if only david built his resume to force a canelo fight either go up take our ramiraz n chavez jr (easy fight bigger check and exposure) take our bivol then you can force canelo at 175. As for 168 forget about it . nelo might fight charlo n ggg at 168 aka force 160s up. Then thats it for 168. After this cruiser bout hell go to 175 cause weight then 168 for last fight at that weight. The risk doesnt weight the reward no belt no big name so less $ than ggg or charlo.

Yeah I get that. But if you know that your path ahead is fully endorsed by your handlers and your getting those big fights then your energy towards that is gonna show. If your career is the flip side to that and you know your not getting those fights and your with the same people, then it must get pretty hard trying to show energy for fights that you ain't getting and its out of your control. If PBC suddenly and genuinely were to say " hey Jermall let's go get you that Andrade fight or maybe even Golovkin " with real honest intent, do you think Jermall knocks it back? I don't. Because he's watching his brother get the glory and scratching his head wondering why he isn't also imo.

If he thinks Al is not getting the job done, he can walk! Plenty others left and went to MatchRoom before him! Benavidez is with PBC, so he can't use that excuse! If he wants Canelo @ 168, then Benavidez is the path to greatness! MAN UP!

Mayweather is just shilling for his company. They want more of that Canelo money.

Yeah I agree that he should walk and ultimately it's up to the fighter. But I don't think he would consider that an option as his popularity would probably be affected. He loves the attention. More so than his brother it seems. But the fighters have the power to do that so in that respect your right he needs to MAN UP. I'm just pretty sure that he won't, but would still take the fights in his current predicament, he just has to realise that his current predicament is not working for him. Maybe seeing Crawford leaving TR will help him realise that.
