Why the hell is this for an interim WBC title? Why do those things even exist?

The WBC just love randomly inventing titles out of nowhere. Does this create confusion for Canelos undisputed title like the mess over at lightweight?

As hyped as Benavidez is he's lacking recognizable names. He was beating Dirrell but iirc Dirrell also had a big cut that affected him. Lemule is a fan favorite and known commodity, take the fight.
