So if being knocked out in one professional fight would lead to physical and mental damage, why let your son compete at all? Why not get him involved in competitive checkers? Or Olympic curling, it’s relatively safe.

Spence in Crawford need to fight, that’s the fight. I’m hoping the WBC makes it happen. If not I’d love to see boots in there, want to see if Crawford can eat “Boots” right hands like he did Shawn’s. I’d love to see the Taylor fight too, and wouldn’t mind him jumping up to the front of the line

I don't read too much into that! I do feel some type of way about him wanting to close a deal with Ugas, before we even had an outcome from Crawford vs. Porter! Now we'll see what happens! TBH, I'm getting tired of Spence and Crawford! I'm all in with Boots, and I have a feeling neither Spence nor Crawford is going to give him a shot @ 147! He'll probably have to catch them @ 154, which is fine, because Boots will only be better and stronger by then!

I agree with Boots. IMO he is the best at 147 but probably doesn't stand a chance at the big fight in the division. None of the champs will give him a shot. They would vacate first I believe but like you said he will probably get that chance at 154 eventually

You're missing the point and obviously the medical intelligence.... realize, Kenny Porter RECOGNIZED the serious damage that Shawn would have endured if he let Shawn continue fighting..... Shawn has NEVER been in a fight with a fighter capable of doing the damage T Crawford had just started on Shawn and would have continued in very long term damage results... FACTS!

Let's get this on the record. I think Jaron Ennis is the best welterweight in the world.

Force spence to a fight .how beat ugas. Ugas beat porter in most folks eyes, has a legit belt and is talented. 2 belts spence holding the only other would force spence to table full claim 50/50 purse n such. Thats an interesting fight would add eyes plus ugas needs it to ppl dont take him serious or know who he is if he beats bud then ugas vs spence showdowm sales. Bud if loses just fights swift garcia winner title shot.

Uh ….T Crawford knocked down Postel twice and the serious damage never materialized. If Kenny is that knowledgeable when it comes to things like CTE, why has he allowed so many fighters to die and only protected his son? If the “FACTS” you say are true Kenny should be charged with negligent homicide for allowing so many deaths. What did Dr. Porter say about that young lady who died in Mexico recently? Why oh why did he allow it ?

I like all the potential match and all you can hope for is that Crawford doesn't price himself out. Knowing Crawford he will be looking where to make the most and that would be with Josh Taylor. Unified 140 from the UK coming up to face him and represents the easy UK money. I rather see Crawford against Spence, Ugas or Charlo.

Crawford should just fight more often and not on PPV....to build up more of a crossover appeal to casual sports fans....heck, maybe he could get some endorsements out of it.
