He may be tough but Cheesman sucks. Domestic British level guy, and not even a particularly good one. At least Eggington got a couple wins against guys who used to be good (old man Paulie and even older Carlos Molina).

Number of times Bernard Hopkins stepped into the ring with a legitimate world champion (big four top champions, Ring, or Lineal only; no interim, regular, IBO, etc): 23
Number of times Demetrius Andrade stepped into the ring with a legitimate world champion: 0

Don't ever, ever mention Andrade in the same sentence as a legend like Hopkins.

Hopkins fought better competition after his 45th birthday than Andrade has fought in his whole worthless career.

was paulie ever really good though...eggy and him are on the same level in reality its just paulie got the star treatment for some reason after getting beat up by cotto. they tried to make something out of not nothing but close to nothing. after losing to cotto he was suddenly headlining cards and getting easy opponents like a blown up edner cherry moving up many divisions. usually you have to fight your way back into contention...but not paulie. then after that he got a crack at a belt vs career journeyman lovemore ndou who happened to have a belt at that moment in time, decent win but then he followed it up with a robbery win against ngoudjo and that started the pattern of get beat up vs good fighter, beat a couple nobodies, get beat up by a good fighter, beat a couple nobodies until the end of his career. the only other notable fight was against juan diaz movin up in weight coming off a ko loss. for some reason people thought that was a good win? its good to have low standards

            Are you high?

            Paulie vs world titlists:
L vs Miguel Cotto UD 12
W vs Lovemore N'Dou UD 12 (reigning IBF 140 titlist)
            W vs Lovemore N'Dou UD 12
L vs Ricky Hatton TKO 10
L vs Juan Diaz UD 12
W vs Juan Diaz UD 12
L vs Amir Khan TKO 11
W vs Vyacheslav Senchenko UD 12 (reigning undefeated WBA 147 champion)
L vs Adrien Broner SD 12
W vs Zab Judah UD 12
L vs Shawn Porter TKO 4
L vs Danny Garcia TKO 9

            Eggington vs world titlists:
W vs Paulie Malinaggi KO 8
L vs Liam Smith TKO 5
W vs Carlos Molina UD 12

Eggington took 6 losses against guys who were Euro level or worse.

All of Malinaggi's losses except the final one against Eggington were to world level guys, and Paulie beat two titlists in the ring for their belts.

well eggy actually has a much better winning percentage against "world titlists" so he seems bettter, just didnt get as many chances as paulie which furthers my case that paulie was a creation who kept getting hyped up and gifted chances. thank you for the data for my argument.

but why beating former titlists means something to you is beyond me. paulie beating a shot zab judah proves what exactly? paulie beating senchenko means what? tell me why senchenko is good? cause he had a belt...cept he fought no one. automatic good win cause he had a belt!

im not even arguing paulies resume vs eggingtons. paule has a better resume but im saying he had the hype machine behind him and yet his resume is complete crap with no real good wins. a couple decent wins but for a 15 year career and tons of fights on major networks...not really worthy. egginton isnt on the major networks and hasnt gotten the opportunities that paulie had, but like i said before his winning percentage is actually better so if you tease that out and gave him 12 fights like paulie, he would be 8-4 unlike paulies 5-7.

now thats pretty silly since boxing doesnt work that way, you actually have to analyze how good a fighter is, and not just look at "world titlists" or "ex world titlists" and when you do that for paulie...you dont get much. you dont get much for eggington either which was my point cept one guy was in the zeitgeist of boxing for a decade and the other basically unknown. im not saying eggington should be given more opportunities but that paulie wasted our time, or should i say they wasted our time hyping paulie up for our consumption. that was wrong. good for paulie on a personal level sure.

paulie also should have lost to guys like ngoudjo and cano and thats part of my hyped up argument. they made sure he didnt lose to guys who were "unpromotable" and so that they could ensure another "big fight" promotion: paulie vs hatton, khan, broner, etc...

Or you can look at it like this...

RECORD AGAINST CURRENT OR FORMER WORLD CHAMPIONS
                Janibek - 2-0
                Andrade 0-0

It'd be a good fight for both guys, although I assume Andrade probably will be hankering for a bigger money fight.

If they did fight I'd probably root for Andrade. Janibek's performance against N'Dam was good but I don't like the way he was toying with him. Disrespectful.

I think that's just his style. Still strong amatuer looking stuff going on and uses mainly just the one hand.
