According to Yahoo Sports' Kevin Iole, Khan prevailed over Marcos Maidana in the week-long fan voting that Mayweather announced on Twitter back on Feb. 3. The voting closed on Sunday, with Khan recording 20,105 votes to 15,474 for Maidana.

To answer the question, he's wasn't overrated at all. He has some very bad carrer choices, as the garcia and peterson losses should of never happened, he had no business fighting peterson, especially in his own back yard with the crowd and judges against you and your the Champ, very bad move. He should of never fought peterson. When bradley went to top rank and turned down a fight with him, he was the no1 guy in the Jr welter weight division, he had just smoked judah and it was talks of moving up to fight mike jones at welter for a vacant strap, after that the mayweather fight would of been pretty much a lock. Khan was at he absolute peak when he beat judah, it was his best performance, the mayweather fight a couple fight from that would of been perfect and something special, who know what what of happened his carrer would of likley been very different.
