Ortiz vs Porter who’s the better fighter?

I want to say Shawn but Ortiz Jr seems to be more talented

Ortiz Jr by far, probably stops Porter sooner as well. Kavas on record saying Ortiz has a far better jab and is more powerful than Crawford.

Ortiz has the higher ceiling but my issue with him, as he starts facing more elite fighters, is that he throws everything hard, which isn't the same as everything naturally landing heavy. He's got to learn to start varying the speed and intensity of his punches. Eventually someone will be able to take his power. What's he going to do when that happens?

He is the hardest puncher in the division

Apples and oranges. One guys a prospect the other is a 2x champ.
Ortiz is young and has the potential to surpass Porter but Shawn's been a top guy for a while.

Never said he wasn't but we don't wanna see him turn into a Lemieux type.

Both are in completely different stages of their career. Ortiz is on the rise and entering contender status while Shawn is at the twilight with a current retirement status. If we’re talking RIGHT NOW, I would go with Ortiz but we don’t know until Ortiz faces a top guy. He did look more impressive in his last fight compared to Bud with a common opponent which is saying a lot.

He would be the best fighter either Spence or Crawford has faced tbh.
