Paul Williams may look big even at middleweight but the heaviest he has come in was at 165 against Winky Wright. Wright/Miranda/Abraham may look smaller but they're heavier than Williams.

I'd be surprised if Pacquiao even reaches 150. He is very relaxed and hydrated at 148. Cotto on the other hand weighing-in at at 158-160 is not far fetched as he has done it before.
Good point, although I think for this fight, he'll come in at a little less. Notice whenever Cotto fights a speed prone fighter, he comes in a little lighter. When he fought Mosely, judah, Paulie M., he came in lighter than usual (about 10, 12 pounds). I guess its for mobility purposes, but I can't say for sure. I do know that when the opponents are punchers, or bigger, he comes in quite heavy.

It's the reason why he knocks out opponents. He put his whole weight behind his punch starting from the calves.

I'm referring to Pacquiao's fight time weight, with 148.5 as his highest ever against Dela Hoya in a welterweight bout. That's why I'll be surprised if he comes in within the 150 mark.

Interesting observation. Green K for you.

So basically Cotto comes in lighter against faster fighters.

If you have seen them in Yankee Stadium, you'd notice that they actually look very close in height.

                      Foot Speed.
Pacquiao has the ability to bounce in and out with his punches and hopefully escape danger. The ability to move the whole 12 rounds if needed. Thats how they help.
