They rejected the Zurdo fight for this sh**?

As Ellerbe said: “f*** Eddie Hearn”.

Makes no sense at all man, makes no sense at all. Ryder also bypassed the Morrell fight to become the mandatory for what exactly? At first they said it was to fight Bivol but what exactly is he going to do now? Hearn wants Bivol for Buatsi but looks with Buatsi's hand injury? Who knows what happens now.

      Ryder vs Morrell
      Bivol vs Zurdo

Two damn good match ups we aren't going to get to see for no apparent reason.

It’s not a terrible fight but there’s way better fights that could’ve been made.

Even Bivol v Vlasov might’ve been better, seeing as Buatsi pulled out of a fight with him due to happen on the same date as this, I’m sure he could’ve been ready for Bivol. I actually thought he beat Joe Smith too anyway.

Yeah great point! Ryder has been left with f***ing nothing, he’s the biggest loser in all of this. Bypassed a title shot for nothing.

I wonder if he can still fight Morrell for the mandatory spot now that he is not getting the Bivol fight? And Bivol's team wanted to wait for the Canelo fight but that was never going to happen.

Hard to blame Hearn for this. Bivol is on an RCC card and is only co-promoted by Matchroom.

Bivol got played by Eddie Hearn who convinced him he was in the running for a canelo payday. That's why he turned down the Zurdo fight which is the biggest fight and biggest payday he can get. No reason that fight shouldn't be happening next. He got a offer turned it down thinking he was in the running to fight Canelo in Sept. Then thought he was in the running to fight Canelo in Nov. Took this fight thinking he was in the running to fight Canelo in May 2022. But now looks foolish because Canelo announced he is moving to Crusierweight. Hearn using Bivol as a pawn he is wasting his career away.

I guess he didn't want to fight in Russia. I'd like to see him fight the Gongora-Richards winner.
