The fight isn't juiced up Jake Paul vs Fury but it's next best.

Bring on that big guy, whats his name? The dude on the slide...you know, the one that gets whacked against the ropes. Makuna, yup, that guy deserves it and that's what fans are dying to see and pay those big PPV dollars for.

I blame Beterbiev, Bivol, Andrade, Charlo & Benevidez for not fighting Canelo.

Canelo fans have been screaming for Makuna, and Canelo doesn't F&*k around. P4P king says bring on the best, bring on Makula.

Canelo vs Makuna Matata for all the cheese.

Lol clickbait. I actually watched this interview and this quote is being taken out of contents. He was asked “do you feel like Benavides has done enough to undoubtedly be next?” Key word UNDOUBTEDLY, which he answered no. He’s deft in the running, but guys like Charlo, Bivol or Artur are just as deserving.

Not really, the piece notes that he said as his immediate fight. Reynoso basically broke down why Benavidez is not there yet to force a fight in the near future and they are solid points. Benavidez needs a bigger win than Anthony Dirrell.

I love Canelo, but this is a straight duck, or his team know the dangers of David Benavidez.
Fielding had a belt at a new division. Yildirim was a mandatory to keep one of his belts.

Saunders had a belt, Plant had a belt Benavidez lost due to lazyness

            You suck at this bro.

Benadivez screwed himself....TWICE! He surrendered his belts due to bad decisions and not taking the sport seriously.

First, it was ******* and the second time, he came in nearly 3 pounds over the 168 lb limit.

He clearly needs to move up to 175 and stop being a weight bully and a duck at 168. Good thing is, he'll still be in range (weight wise) to face Canelo at 175 but Charlo, Andrade, GGG, Mungia, whomever all have to stay where they are at 160 or move up 8 lbs. Either way, no Canelo for them.

I don't wanna see this fat bastard struggle to make weight, just to show up, stink up the joint and walk away with a big payday and excuses about his weight, age, etc. It's his own fault! Canelo didn't make him snort coke or miss weight, but the blame seems to be aimed at him anyway.

if you disagree, what are Benevidez’s achievements that make him the clear choice above all possible opponents?? The one clear qualification he did have he forfeited on the scales.
Actually, he's an ex-champ that never lost his belt in the ring, Undefeated and young, not in his prime just yet. In the same division that ginger just unified. And before you start with the Coke thing, we all make mistakes, so we can give a pass to a 21 years old kid. Be safe

I'm not saying he wouldn't be a legit fight for Canelo and neither is Reynoso. Benevidez's achievements however don't exactly set him apart from other legit potential opponents.

So far as pointing the finger at someone for recreational drug use, far be it for me. I might find fault for him holding on to a weight class he doesn't seem to fit anymore (presumably to avoid Messrs Bivol and Beterbiev) but far be it for Canelo to find fault for that

Yes, I agreed. They are no clear cut front runner, but ilunga is not even on the same zip code than the rest, and at 180 pounds catchweight, like Canelo wants, is really mess up. Why do you want to go to Cruiserweight, and bring the champ closer to lhw. Doesn't he understand that, nobody will give him credit for that? That's his pattern, find someone weak or past his prime with a belt, make him weaker and them, fight him. The reason that the hardcore fans are on hi a$$ with benavidez, is because he never showed any intentions of unifying smw, until benavidez lost his belt. And a lot of hardcore fans are waiting for another David to fight again. And believe me that they are looking for a real challenge for this kid. Ryder went in another direction, let's see what happens next. Be safe.
