Comments Thread For: Crawford On Being Promotional Free Agent: I'm Pretty Sure My Decision Is Made Already

LAS VEGAS - Bob Arum sat about three feet to Terence Crawford's right on a stage Saturday night. Crawford seems more than ready, however, to separate himself from Arum and the promotional company, Top Rank Inc., that has represented him throughout his Hall-of-Fame run as a three-weight world champion. The 34-year-old Crawford's contract with Top Rank expired after his division-defining, 10th-round technical knockout of former welterweight champion Shawn Porter about an hour earlier at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino's Michelob ULTRA Arena.

I don't think he goes to PBC. A lot of talk he's going to that new Probellum.

The question is will Haymon make a deal for Crawford/Spence unless Bud comes to PBC full time?
Crawford isn’t a big enough name to create a bidding war fight by fight. Plus he doesn’t have any other options to fight top welterweights other than doing business with PBC.
I doubt Haymon is going to risk Bud beating Spence and then taking that WBC belt anywhere else.

well he got rid of one blood sucker... its a start. Fighters need to wake up and smell that legacy in the wind! Spence needs it as much as Crawford... ditch the sycophants and as Mill Lanes used to say "Lets get it on!!!!"

Bud should dump the PARASITE Bob Arum! Go to PBC to really cement his legacy. He doesn't need Josh Taylor! It's time!!

Should go Fight By Fight to the Highest Bidders like Canelo is doing currently, do a fight on DAZN, PBC whoever is offering the best deals

of course not anywhere close to the Draw that Canelo is but hell if PBC was able to come up with Guaranteed $40 Million for Canelo and $10 Million for Plant for them to Unify, then Unification with Spence should get Bud an incredible offer from PBC as well if they're serious about Unification

Regardless if he choose to try and unify 147 or go up to 154, it will be hard to do that and get quality fights in either Division without dealing with PBC in some way so him being Free Eliminates all Excuses. Hopefully Spence can get the Ugas Unification fight for the WBA in March and we finally get Spence vs Crawford Mid or Late 2022.

Did Haymon extend him an offer? You would think he did, but maybe he wants to continue protecting his guys.
