Man, apparently it took 3 years just to make Murata-Golovkin happen. So, just pretending like you want your guy to have big fights is pointless.

Hearn should be doing more if he wants Andrade in big fights.

Agree to 30% stake in purse to fight, agree to vacate to get ranked by WBC at or near #1 contender, etc.

But he won’t and they don’t finesse the system like that. Why? Because they really don’t want it. If you want something, really want it, you’ll do what it takes to get it. Stop playing games and maybe Andrade would get the fights.

Golovkin doesn't want it. I don't blame him at his stage of his career. He had to wait until he was 35 to get a money fight with Canelo. He was avoided in his prime at 160. Now he's 39 p**** like Eubank Jr want him as a name when he's just a shell of what he was. Lets see if Eubank Jr, Charlo, Munguia or Andrade are still fighting when they are 6 months from turning 40.

All of this is moot….because Hearn is the promoter for both Andrade and GGG….and Munguia is on dayzin as well. And for a couple of years Canelo was too and Hearn directly promoted Canelo. So yeah Hearn, What’s wrong with boxing? You are what’s wrong with boxing. YOU have failed to get him in with fighters you are affiliated with. Andrade is clearly too ****** to see that YOU are why he isn’t getting the fights he wants. Only last week he said, he is out of ideas how to get these fights done as he’s tried money and tried flexing on locations and even TV platform. I don’t like or hate the guy but not sure how you can criticise him for that, Uncle Bob is the worlds greatest BS artist and the man who pulls all the strings in boxing (Haymon) operates in the shadows with no accountability, so Hearn’s not even the worst of them all.

yeah I don’t do whataboutism. Hearn is the promoter, dayzin is the app, ggg is promoted by Hearn, Canelo has had most of his fights on that app recently, Munguia is on that app….putting lipstick on a pig doesn’t make it prettier. Hearn is the problem, pure and simple. This doesn’t have anything to do with Arum or Haymon. Their guys are doing fine and not begging for anything

No Hearn, Demetrius Andrade is what is wrong with boxing. Fighters like Andrade want big paydays without being able to cover their payday, let alone to make a profit for the networks and promoters. They also want big money fights while having a thin resume and not fighting the high risk, low reward fighters like Lara and Charlo.

At 27 years old, the diva that is Andrade pulled out of a Charlo fight 1 month before fight night, over money. Andrade was going to get a career-high payday at the time, $300k, and fight the best opponent he could fight at the time, while still being relatively unknown.

Andrade pulled out because Roc Nation promised to buy out Andrade’s contract for $2mill, pay him $550k to cancel the Charlo fight, and offered Andrade $750k for his next fight under the Roc Nation banner. None of that happened, Roc Nation pulled out, Andrade’s greedy ass got played, and Jermell went on to make his resume better.

Another one: Lara, the WBA Super champion at 154, called out Andrade. Andrade had this to say about Lara.

Andrade rejected Lara to fight the WBA Regular champ, and way less risky Jack Culcay.

I don’t know how much worse you can duck someone, than how Andrade ducked Lara. Maybe Bradley ducking Khan is worse. He really went after the WBA’s 154 secondary “champion”, over The Ring/WBA Super 154lb #1 fighter Erislandy Lara, who called him out. A legit champion of your weight class, the #1 guy of your weight class called YOU out. And you ducked him to fight a guy who was not ranked top 10 by The Ring at 154.

Canelo fighting Lara, despite knowing Lara has a difficult and boring style to look good against, just goes to show what a real fighter is. Andrade ducking Lara goes to show what is wrong with boxing. Guys like Andrade want belts and money while taking low risks. He wants belts and big paychecks, big money fights handed to him.

Andrade: “He won’t engage or try and make the fight entertaining, especially if it’s coming into my favor,” Andrade explained. “He’s just going to survive, try to run, try to do the little pitty-pat counter punches. I’m not about that right now.”



He said this about Lara, while being boring himself, and being turned down by big names because he is boring and doesn’t want to earn big fights by putting in the work, climbing up the ladder. He got a taste of his own medicine when Canelo and GGG ignored him and called him boring and terrible.
