If he's mandated to which we don't know what's going on there then i have no problem with it because Whyte stands little chance. Tbh i think even Joyce would give him a better fight he has a better chin that's for sure.
Be nice to use whyte as a measuring stick of furys so called greatness because we all know wilder is absolutely useless
If whyte clips fury or works the body good it can be extremely interesting..but it could be like the 2nd del boy fight if whyte can't work his way in
Either way him Joyce or Joshua usyk
That's not much choice for me personally
Anyone else would be a duck when you have a credible opponant sitting waiting
just a shame fury can't do a canelo and jump in and out of weight classes because I'm sure hed be p4p number 1 ducker if he could

He doesn’t want to give Whyte a payday because of all his **** talking. Rather him fight him then a random bum but i get why too.

Like I said Whyte will press Fury and make a grueling fight out of it one way or other ,Fury knows this he’s not keen on body punchers he likes head hunters because he can read them if that’s all they do .
Yes Joyce would most likely defeat Whyte but in the Fury match up it’s an easier fight for him .

Fury could have fought Whyte awhile back, the WBC actually ordered a Diamond belt fight with them but then Fury declined it and I guess the WBC acted like it never happened ?
I can’t take Fury seriously until he acts like a champion that’s just real talk .because I’m a boxing fan not a fighter fan that cheerleads for a particular fighter to boost them up I call it as I see it .

The WBC top 10 according to this website are:
Whyte (some ****** title, so is listed as champ)
Accepting that Wilder will never happen again, and that Ortiz is signed to fight Charles Martin on Jan 1 and Chisora is about to rumble with Parker, any other of these names on this list should be fine for Fury if the Whyte fight does not happen. He is their champ, they are ranked. None of these- no matter how "easy" they are perceived to be- can be considered "ducks".Deontay Wilder Andy Ruiz Joe Joyce Luis Ortiz Joseph Parker Frank Sanchez Michael Hunter Agit Kabayel Filip Hrgovic Arslanbek Makhmudov Tony Yoka Derek Chisora Robert Helenius Martin Bakole Charles Martin
However, if Fury goes away from these names and moves on to someone else, well then any criticisms he gets he will have earned.Last edited by landotter; 11-21-2021, 11:19 AM.
