Cotto has been compared to Hatton cause his aggressive style. Hatton biggest win was over Kotsya but after that besides the KO of Castillo didn't have an imprssive win and a questionable decision. Hatton looks good when he fights B level fighters but not spectacular, also his chin was showing signs even before the Mayweather fight.

Hatton is a decent fighter with a huge paying following. He is a better version of Virgil Hill that once they step into the A fighters they come short but don't lose the support of their fans.

IMHO I don't think that Hatton would beat Cotto if they ever fought before or now

How do you figure? Hatton got KTFO by both pac and mayweather. Cotto took a knee, no knockout (TKO by boxing standards, which only means it's a loss, but not a real knockout). Hatton's KO by manny was something so devastating and brutal that only RJJ can relate. lol Sorry my pinoy amigo, but there's no comparison. And if hatton would have had the cojones to fight Cotto at 140, which he ducked on 3 occasions, it would have been 3 KOs and not 2. Nuff said.

You know damn well Hatton didn't clean out 140. He fought Maussa, Urango, Malignaggi, Castillo. That was the elite of 140 alright.

Hell Cotto beat two of those guys.

cotto is hattonesque but with more patience, power and technique. hatton has more speed and heart (he never quit) imho.
