Terence Crawford waited 5 years to step up again vs a top 5 fighter of a weight class.

Max Kellerman hypes up Crawford way too much. I know he works with ESPN, and TR works with ESPN but Kellerman can’t force fans to see Crawford as this super special fighter who has given fans nothing in the form of elite fights.

Media/journalists/TR have molded Crawford into a top 3 P4P fighter, top 3 WW. He definitely has not earned that.

Crawford has been living off of his 2014-2016 run from 135 to 140, where he fought a few top 3 fighters in Ricky Burns, Reymundo Beltran, and Viktor Postol. At that time, those were all good opponents to fight. But he has fought 0 top 5 fighters after that.

Boxing media can’t just use a fighter’s old fights to rank him. If that’s the case then might as well put SRR, Armstrong, SRL, Duran, Hearns, Whitaker, Mayweather, Pacquiao, DLH, Mosley, Trinidad, Cotto, etc, in the top 15 at 147 since those guys are all Hall of Famers who have among the best resumes of the last 50 years or so, and fought some of the best fighters of their time.

Also, put Muhammad Ali as The Ring champ at HW. And Mike Tyson as the #1 contender at HW.

If we are going to put so much weight on Crawford beating Burns, Beltran and Postol from 2014-2016, and beating no other top 5 fighters after that. Might as well rank legendary boxers as top the top 10.

Kellerman just called Crawford one of the greatest fighters of his era. The guy has beaten no future HOFers. No top 5 welters. Beat three top 5 fighters in total, from 135 to 147

In the same boat. If there was atleast 1 good undercard fight I'd order it without hesitation but since there's not, I'm not sure the main event alone is worth it....."do i,don't i,do i"

Crawford needs to win tonight or his reputation is going to take a major hit and Porter wants to finally get a big name under his resume. Expect the best from both, hopefully they both deliver a good fight

Just don't like how both fighters get hit a lot in every fight. Diaz and Dogboe got brutal beatings their last fights. Can't imagine how their health will be in 20 years?

Muratallo uppercut is nice and short, both hands. throwing it often

Agree with Max about how he feels the main even might go.

Undercard should've been better than this honestly even though this fight is decent

That was an awful stoppage. Yes, he was losing, but that is not a stoppage situation.
