Floyd sharpshooting him on the outside all day. JCC would’ve been too slow and not as awkwardly unorthodox as Maidana to make a difference.

What about JCC doing similar to Miguel Cotto

Miguel Cotto while a very good fighter isn’t what I’d call awkwardly unorthodox

Like Frankie Randall and Pernell Whitaker fights vs JCC!

Awful style for JCC to deal with

If it’s PBF vs JCC at 130-135, I think it’s very close. Once JCC got into a rhythm he was incredibly tough to slow down. Floyd would likely sweep the early rounds but I think Chavez gives him some really tough moments down the stretch. 7-5 either way type fight.

If it’s a more mature Mayweather vs the 140+ version of Chavez, I’ve got Mayweather by a clear decision.

Well we have contradictory precedents that tell us different things that contradict. Sweet Pea embarassed Chavez. Some of us believe The Pea was even better than Floyd defensivelly but not so much better that his victory (screw judges robbery) does not tell us something about how Floyd would measure up... Yet Floyd had problems with Corrales... And later with Madiana. So who knows?

Pressure guys didn’t trouble Pernell the way they could Floyd right

Floyd’s main problems were always his brittle hands and resting on the ropes for too long when he didn’t had to. I feel like he could’ve showcased his skills at 160 if he could, but he knew he wouldn’t have the snap on his punches to compete at that weight against bigger opponents especially with his brittle hands.

Floyd had no problems at all with Corrales, beat the brakes off him 4-5 KDs I think before they threw the towel in.

Garcia talks about how bad ass Corrales was said he punched hard as fck was surprised how easy Floyd beat him.
