    Yeah, exactly.

Fernando Vargas was a shot fighter when he was 28.

point I’d Porter is shot Has been since he got the ugas gift yet the same idiots that hate on Canelo will praise Bud for this win.
Can't say he shot when he was one point away from beating the #1 147lber.

And one point that needs to be discussed more is why do y'all assume those are the same fans? Lol.

And why assume those fans dislike Canelo, let's not act like Canelo hasn't made career choices that rubbed even his fans the wrong way.

Age is not only a number. It's no secret that Kovalev liked the sauce quite a bit and didn't always like to train the way he should have. Porter doesn't seem to have the same taxing lifestyle that the Russian did.

In the ring, Porter still looks strong, explosive and punch resistant. Kovalev was showing signs of compromised stamina (which wasn't the best even at peak) and diminished punch resistance.

Canelo's win over Kovalev is still incredibly impressive. I haven't and won't criticize him for that fight and won't criticize him for the Makabu fight. Were there more dangerous opponents to choose from at LHW and CW for Canelo? Yes. Do I feel like he's obligated to fight them to prove his greatness? No.
