I thought GGG would KO Canelo in fight 1. I didn't think Canelo would, or could, move with his feet the way he did in that fight. He came to survive and go 12 which I wasn't expecting. Fight 2 I had it 50-50 going in but GGG beat him again in a similar way to fight 1.

GGG is nearing 40. I don't really give a sh.it what he does now to be honest. He had his time to build his career and I think he had a great one all things considered. Murata is the highest reward lowest risk fight he can get. Same formula as Canelo and others have always done. No shame in that. If you can't beat them (on the cards) join em

100% true (although I'd argue Andy Lee might be BJS best win but that's really splitting hairs). Anytime you put a resume under a microscope, more often than not you can find things to criticize, especially if one has a narrative they wish to further.

Not really a fan of either Canelo or GGG but I do respect them both greatly, I thought they split their two fights against each other. Canelo has a great resume and see no problem with him challenging himself against Makabu.

On a side note, I always enjoyed Lemieux for what he was: a limited skills, boiled down SMW fighting at 160 who could hit like a freight train. Incredibly fun to watch as he nearly knocked the heads off of guys like Stevens and O'Sullivan.
