Whats So Special About Gervonta Davis

Help me understand. He has the work rate of a heavyweight, suspect defense, usually gasses out every fight and has fought almost nobody of note. What makes him a special fighter ?

He is special because of his power at that size. He isn’t that great. But posters that don’t like him artificially deflate his opponents which they only do when a guy they hate shows talent.

my experience on nsb is posters that don’t like a very talented fighter that is outspoken and undefeated do things like this because he’s better than they will admit.

Power! What I notice is that although it is not vs the best so far, he can adjust and he has a extra gear in which he will just let punches fly with bad intentions so he has a really good Killer Instinct for sure. Just need to step it up...no correction Ellerbe and Mayweather need to allow him to Step Up Level of Competition. Ellerbe seems to not want him near any of the Top Guys and maybe that could be for a reason who knows at this point

He is Exciting to Watch for sure and he has Casuals interested and is a Draw in a Smaller Division that Casuals typically don't give a damn about

Power and that’s it. Has fought no one of note, not even a gatekeeper.

He has exceptional speed and power. I watched him ringside when he fought in the UK and I was really impressed. You can really here the force behind his shots.

Does he have flaws? Definitely, but his power and speed are a massive equaliser.

He doesn’t necessarily beat all of them but he’s a problem for anybody at 130-135.

Pedraza? Santa Cruz? C’mon man they’re far, far better than gatekeepers.

We all know what’s up with SC in this fight, but I’ll give you Pedraza. It’s an okish win I guess.

I’ll throw you a bone lol
