This is a smart move by Canelo’s team to grab another title to make him look even greater than he looks already. Most fighter’s records that are at the top level are smoke and mirrors and sleight of hand. Greatness is part illusion and packaging and it’s always been that way, so I’m not sure how much I should blame Canelo. Is it possible that this cruiser can give Canelo big problems? Maybe, maybe not.
Breidis will be way to much for him come on be realistic.

Given your computational limits one could “suspect” that you were dropped from the crib several times, and the folks laughed when it happened? Su****ion doe

          Exactly truth right here

Thats how it was with Chris Algieri and Jeff Horn prior to them fighting PAC. Yet Manny fans raved about how undefeated they were.

You know which other fights were sleight of hands too?
The great PAC went to fight two undefeated WW’s that nobody had ever heard of; Chris Algieri and Jeff Horn. He also fought the weakest Jr Middle Weight at a catchweight of 150 **Margarito) and one weak opponent at 135 (David Diaz) to grab a belt as well as one time at 140 against Hatton.
So, it’s been done before I suppose.

I watched him get pummeled by Bellew, live on TV. Great fight. Bellew annihilated the guy. And BTW... after that fight, IMO his punch resistance diminished a little bit. This will definitely be an interesting fight, no matter how it ends up. I think Canelo will be too fast for Makabu, although Canelo may have his hands full if he tries to KO the guy.

Bellew went down in that fight I wouldn't say it was an annihilation but the knockout was indeed conclusive. You'd fancy Alvarez to land a few counters and do the same.

100% Canelo will knock him out.

The challenge looks impressive on paper, but then you realise that Makabu is not the best cruiserweight, in a weak division. There's no Usyk there anymore.

For Canelo, it's a kinda easy fight, which he might say is deserved after taking on Saunders and Plant, who were advertised as tricky unbeaten boxers before he fought them. They were somewhat slick although not exactly Floyd or Whitaker level.

We all now know the toughest opponent for Canelo in the super middleweight division is Benavidez. And at the light heavyweights, Beterbiev.
