That's just an excuse. Bridgerweight has a 224 lb. weight limit. It has no effect on cruiserweight.

Other than reducing cruiser from 200 to 190.

All of the current top cruisers who are dehydrating to make 200 are done as WBC cruisers.

The only problem I have with the fight is the rumored reduction of cruiserweight to 190 lbs. for the WBC. I don't understand how you can make a guy who has won and defended the 200 lb. title to suddenly come in 10 lbs. lighter to defend his own belt.
